Perovskia 'Little Spire' makes a real statement when planted in large numbers along a path, where the flowers create a haze of purple and the sage-like scent of the leaves can be appreciated. This subshrub needs full sun – it is not afraid of winter cold. It can also cope with dry, chalky soils and coastal conditions.

Strong, upright stems look great alone as a container plant on a balcony or patio.

It is best pruned (from the second year) at the end of March, removing old branches to about four buds above the ground. It is also quite resistant to pests and diseases, which makes it even more unpretentious in care.

Ideal for any landscape design.
